Help create a community of action in Olympia
Everyone has a part in creating a nurturing, compassionate community. Inspired by President Obama's call for change, the OAN is a service organization that provides our community with opportunities to 'be the change.' Monthly activities are organized by members themselves (there is no top-down management structure), there is no fee to join, and you only need to participate when it makes sense for you to do so.
The OAN is a free, easy way to volunteer, designed for people who want to get involved but don't know where to start. We are a grassroots community service organization based on the belief that community service is a fun and essential part of creating strong communities and a balanced life reflective of the American spirit.
We are not just 'another non-profit.' Rather, we are here to add people power to existing local organizations. We're about getting our hands dirty, getting out there and getting something done!
